Key Project Presentation at the Leading Audiovisual Innovation and Immersive Technologies Fair

Palo Alto BCN XRLAB at ISE 2025

The latest edition of ISE 2025, the world’s leading event in audiovisual innovation and immersive technologies, was the stage for presenting the key aspects ofPalo Alto BCN XRLAB. EThis new innovation lab, promoted by Barcelona Activa and managed by the consortium formed by Lavinia Group, Artsmediatech and Magmacultura, aims to become a benchmark center for creation and experimentation with immersive technologies applied to culture, creative industries, and education.

Moreover, the project is part of the municipal strategy to promote new economic activity hubs and is one of the first tangible legacies of the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) event in Barcelona.

During the session “Transforming Imagination into XR Experiences“, director Esther Rovira and Head of Production and Operations, Jokin Buesa, highlighted how technology enables the development of new cultural experiences for all audiences, both existing and new ones emerging through these innovative tools.

Palo Alto BCN XRLAB: A New Hub for Digital Innovation and Experimentation

Located in Palo Alto, in the Sant Martí district, this hub for innovation and digital experimentation is created with the goal of fostering new forms of cultural expression through virtual, augmented, and mixed reality. Magmacultura, cwith its expertise in cultural mediation and education, contributes its knowledge to develop accessible, immersive, and enriching experiences, enabling new audiences to engage with culture through technology.
