The Cité de la Gastronomie de Lyon opens its doors to the public

On 19 October, at 10 a.m., the Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie de Lyon will open its doors to the public. This new cultural centre, designed and produced by MagmaCultura, is entirely dedicated to gastronomy.

Over the weekend, visitors can discover the newly renovated spaces of the Grand Hôtel-Dieu, right in the heart of Lyon. To celebrate the occasion, chef Régis Marcon, guest chef of the Cité, will be working alongside our kitchen team. Visitors will be able to taste and see how their tasty creations are made, one of the Cité’s main proposals.

The Cité has exhibitions and a programme of activities designed to promote the role of food in people’s well-being.

A unique opportunity to discover the thousand and one facets of French and international gastronomy, and to enjoy new experiences in the first museum where you can taste works of art!

MagmaCultura will manage the center for the next 8 years, and that is why we will put the five senses and the heart to make this a unique experience!
