Bombas Gens: one year transforming digital culture from Valencia

Just one year ago, Bombas Gens Centre d’Arts Digitals opened its doors in Valencia with a bold ambition: to create a new way of connecting with culture through technology, innovation, and immersive storytelling. A project led by Layers of Reality, with Artur Duart —co-founder and President of Magmacultura— as its director.

In a recent interview published in the ValènciaExtra, Yearbook, Duart reflects on the centre’s first year of activity: over 280,000 visitors have experienced immersive exhibitions such as Dalí Cibernético and Tutankhamun: The Last Secret. The upcoming production, La Ruta. Modernity, Culture and Chaos, , will premiere this October and brings back the creative spirit of the “Valencian movida” through digital art and virtual reality.

“We want Bombas Gens to be not just a space for exhibitions, but a generator of talent and creative synergies,” says Artur Duart.
